My husband currently has payment protection insurance with another provider

Q: My husband currently has payment protection insurance with another provider who have decided to double his premium and we can no longer afford it so we are looking elsewhere for cover. Do you waiver the exclusion period for claims if we already have an existing payment protection insurance policy in place?

A: If you have had your existing payment protection insurance policy in place for at least six month, and have not claimed under that policy in the last 24 months, then the initial exclusion period on our payment protection insurance will be waived, for the cover you are transferring as long as you have no gap in cover.
