Q: If someone is made redundant and receives (for example) 5 weeks redundancy payment, can they only claim on accident, sickness and unemployment insurance after the five weeks have expired?

If you were to lose your job and you had a notice period, it is only once that lieu of notice period had ended that you could start a claim on the policy.
